Site-level and regional disasters are often caused by broader infrastructure failures, emergencies, or natural disasters. Macrosan site-level disaster recovery solution minimizes service disruptions caused by disasters and makes full use of the infrastructure resources of two data centers in the same city to maximize the utility of IT investments. Active-Active data center minimize the impact of local and site-level disasters on business continuity. Combined with asynchronous data replication technology, active-active data center can realize geo-redundant disaster recovery and meet the basic requirements of regulators for remote disaster recovery. It makes up for the deficiency of traditional disaster recovery methods based on data replication technology:

Solution

Macrosan can provide customers in the financial industry with a storage device-based ring-3 site disaster recovery solution. It provides higher reliability than traditional site-level disaster recovery schemes.

Two MS series storage devices are configured with SDAS to implement real-time data synchronization and automatic service switchover across sites, ensuring service continuity. Deploy an MS series storage device in a remote disaster backup room, and configure asynchronous replication from dual active data center A to the disaster backup room, as well as asynchronous replication from dual active data center B to the disaster backup room. If either end of the hypermetro data center fails, the replication task can still run properly to ensure data security.

Macrosan SDAS capabilities support very flexible deployment modes, can be 10/25/100GE or 16/32 Gbit/s FC networking, support deployment in a data center, but also support tens of kilometers of remote deployment. The replication function also supports flexible deployment modes, including scheduled replication, periodic replication, and continuous replication. The combined solution of SDAS+ replication can meet the diversified configuration requirements of users on the basis of ensuring high availability of data centers.
